
The task at hand
SC Johnson asked for our help to conceptualize the future of their Ziploc disposable container packaging.
This year-long collaboration involved intensive research and close partnership with the Ziploc team. Taking an evolutionary-to-revolutionary approach, we focused on transforming high-concept structural, and printed packaging, ideas into designs that were approachable and appealing—ensuring we didn’t alienate existing customers while also captivating customers who were loyal to competitors' products.
The standout feature of our final design is the top view of the lid, which prominently displays the container's enhanced features. This marks a shift from the traditional side-view presentation seen in previous products, emphasizing better stackability and organization with the new modular design.Through our dedicated efforts in Packaging Strategy, Package Design, Structure Design, and Art Direction, we crafted a solution that not only elevates the product’s usability but also enhances its visual appeal on the shelves.
